About

Born and raised in Renton, WA. I attended the University of Washington for undergraduate studies in History and English before moving to Saint Louis, MO to begin my teaching career. I had the pleasure of teaching American Literature at Metro Academic and Classical High School, one of the most promising public schools in America, for four years before moving back to Seattle where I currently teach U.S. History at another nationally recognized high school.

My passions revolve around inclusive urbanism, history (urban, labor, war, and civil rights), architecture, sports, and education.
